While Regal Agriculture started in 2013, the present Syben family owners have been involved in farming and contracting in the Cambridge area for over 35 years.
Having spent nearly 20 years working globally with a multinational agricultural machinery manufacturer, owner Andre Syben decided to work locally again, and began growing specialty grasses for a leading local goat milk producer. Syben says "It just grew from there and the demand for contracting services developed organically. The right people joined us, from operations to engineering, and extremely experienced local drivers. It happened quickly once our staff and clients understood our high standards and what we wanted to achieve".
We are proud of the fact that we work closely with other established local Waikato agricultural contracting companies and stock food supply merchants. Sharing similar synergies and high standards enables us to offer a complete service for existing and future clients.
We proudly work for several multinational corporate farming clients, which is testament to our level of professionalism and expertise.
Putting something back into the industry is important and we make a real effort to introduce and train not only local, but overseas staff to the challenging seasonal agricultural environment in New Zealand. Health and Safety is paramount and we pride ourselves on our record and continually look to improve.
"Working harder and smarter" is our company ethos. We actively embrace technology and strive to stay relevant with our systems and practices. All of our vehicles are GPS tracked using Fleetpin technology to ensure maximum efficiency.
Regal Agriculture are proud to be locally owned and operated, and understand the importance of our community. We like to keep involved with local sponsorship including Matangi School, Leamington Rugby Club, and Cambridge Young Farmers.
